Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University presents "An Evening with Kristin Chenoweth," for its premier fundraiser Gala2012 on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Tony and Emmy Award winner Chenoweth will replace Katharine McPhee who had to withdraw from the evening's performance for immediate medical reasons.

This Fall, stage and screen legend Barbra Streisand brings her concert tour across the United States. Titled 'Back to Brooklyn,' the tour stops tonight in Streisand's hometown, Brooklyn, New York, where she will perform at the Barclays Center.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents Tony Award winner Douglas Hodge as 'Cyrano' in a new Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac. Clemence Poesy makes her Broadway debut as 'Roxane' and Broadway veteran Patrick Page plays 'Comte De Guiche.'

Tony nominee Raul Esparza will play the recurring role of "DA Rafael Barba" on Law & Order: SVU beginning on Wednesday, October 10. The episode, titled "Twenty-Five Acts," centers on the author of a best-selling erotic novel (Anna Chlumsky) who accuses a high-profile talk show host (Roger Bart) of rape. The SVU detectives face an uphill battle when they find that her account of the rape is exactly like the chapters in her book, and along with the DA's office (Esparza), they struggle to keep the case from turning into a media circus. The Tony Awards has just announced members of the 2012-13 Administration and Management Committees for next season's ceremony. The 2012-13 management committee will include: Mark Abrahams, Kristin Caskey, Ted Chapin, Sondra Gilman, James Higgins, Heather Hitchens, Paul Libin, William Ivey Long, Michael Price, Jane Safer, Charlotte St. Martin, Scott Sanders, Nick Scandalios, Thomas Viertel, Robert Wankel, and Barry Weissler.

As part of its continuing commitment to developing new works, Signature Theatre presents a one-weekend-only concert of Crossing, a musical by Matt Conner (Nevermore; The Hollow) and Grace Barnes (Nevermore, Zander's Boat). The concert will have four performances, all held on the weekend of October 20th through 21st in the MAX.

Based on George Bernard Shaw's classic play Pygmalion, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's musical My Fair Lady follows the transformation of Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle into an aristocratic lady through lessons in manners, language and dress. After directing the production at the 2011 Shaw Festival, Arena Stage Artistic Director Molly Smith reunites with members of her original design team, along with noted Canadian actor Benedict Campbell who reprises his role as Henry Higgins, to bring a completely fresh interpretation to audiences in D.C. As previously announced, Manna Nichols makes her Arena debut as Eliza Doolittle, and Nicholas Rodriguez returns as Freddy Eynsford-Hill, leading a cast that features many D.C.-area actors. My Fair Lady became the best-selling production in the Shaw Festival's 50-year history and runs at Arena Stage November 2, 2012-January 6, 2013 in the Fichandler Stage.

Barbra Streisand, who this week return to Brooklyn to play at the Barclays Center, is sharing 11 previously unreleased songs, spanning a cross-section of her career from 1963 to the present. The collection, titled RELEASE ME, is now available on vinyl and on CD.

According to published reports, iconic Hollywood entertainer Debbie Reynolds has had to cancel her appearances for the next three months because of an adverse reaction to her medication. She is currently hospitalized at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

Governor Tom Corbett and First Lady Susan Corbett today recognized eight outstanding women as this year's Distinguished Daughters of Pennsylvania. The women were honored at the Governor's Residence in Harrisburg where they were presented with medals and citations for their achievements.
