Tony Award nominee Sahr Nguajah played his final performance as Fela Anikulapo-Kuti on October 10, and Kevin Mambo is taking over as the title character. Mambo, who has won two Daytime Emmy Awards for his appearances on GUiding Light, has been alternating the role with Nguajah since it opened last year. Nguajah is set to star in the upcoming West End production of the show

'Prep &Landing' returns this season with an all new 7-Minute animated short, 'Operation: Secret Santa,' airing on ABC in December, while the half-hour animated special, 'Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice,' debuts in 2011. 'Prep & Landing' became an instant favorite with viewers and emerged as TV's number 1 holiday special in the 2009 season. It was also the highest kids rating (kids 2-11/ 7.5/23), for any primetime telecast on broadcast TV in 2009. The special went on to win four Emmy Awards.

For its final show of 2010, Sydney Theatre Company invites Tamás Ascher, one of the world's foremost interpreters of Chekhov, to direct the great tragicomedy Uncle Vanya, adapted by Andrew Upton. GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, will honor the Emmy Award-winning hit ABC show, 'Modern Family,' at tomorrow night's Respect Awards - Los Angeles, Presented by Centropolis Entertainment at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Emmy winner Rob Reiner will present the show with the Inspiration Award, and America's favorite mom, Florence Henderson, currently appearing on 'Dancing with the Stars,' will be welcoming everyone to the gala. The Matrix Theatre Company has extended the West Coast premiere of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' highly provocative and challenging new play, Neighbors, through November 7.
