With wry observational humor interwoven in both story and song, the album is an ideal introduction to an artist doing something that's simultaneously old and brand new.

Kent Alterman, President of Comedy Central announced today that the Emmy® Award-winning Comedy Central series, Drunk History, has been renewed for a sixth season with sixteen episodes. Created for television by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner, Drunk History is produced by Central Productions and executive produced by Waters and Konner, along with Gary Sanchez Productions' Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Owen Burke. Soccer Mommy - twenty-year old Nashville native Sophie Allison - will release her highly anticipated debut LP Clean next week, but starting today the album can be heard in its entirety courtesy of NPR First Listen. Clean is Allison's journey out of her bedroom and into the studio with a full band and an incredible record produced by Gabe Wax (War On Drugs, Deerhunter, Beirut) and mixed by Ali Chant (Perfume Genius, PJ Harvey). 'I'd never made a full album before, just EPs and random tracks thrown together. I wanted it to be a lot more cohesive than the rest of the stuff that came before,' explains Allison. The result is Clean, the cohesive album Allison dreamt of making, and a record that presents Soccer Mommy as a singular artist, wise beyond her years, with an emotional authenticity of her own.
