The boundary-shattering Stavanger Symphony Orchestra is thrilled release the official CD recording of Mortensen Symphony Op. 5, recorded by Grammy-nominated engineer Jim Anderson in Dolby 5.1 and 9.1. Anderson was featured in this month's issue Stereophile for his use of the use of CAR-60 phono cartridge, which the magazine described as giving the audio an, 'intensely well-focused, supremely stable, three-dimensional orchestral picture.' Stavanger's Mortenson Symphony originally debuted as a digital release in December of last year, though, the release is also available on BluRay with a vinyl release set for this summer on June 8.

The U.S. Postal Service will dedicate the Mister Rogers Forever Stamp on March 23 at the WQED Fred Rogers Studio in Oakland. Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Ro James returns today with the release of his 4-track, Smoke EP. Acorn TV and Acorn Media Enterprises announce their second series commission and first straight-to-series program with British drama series LONDON KILLS. Acorn Media Enterprises (AME), the UK-based development division for the Acorn brand of RLJ Entertainment, Inc, has partnered with PGMTV to co-produce the new series along with Acorn Media International distributing in all English-speaking territories and international distributor ZDF Enterprises distributing in the rest of the world. Created for television and co-written by Paul Marquess (Suspects, Footballers' Wives), LONDON KILLS is currently casting and will go into production in May with a winter 2018 North American premiere for Series 1. The companies will produce two series back-to-back comprised of five by one-hour episodes. The deal was negotiated with Acorn Media Enterprises Shane Murphy, PGMTV's Paul Marquess, and ZDF Enterprises' VP ZDFE.

Singer/Songwriter Christina Holmes has announced her first headline tour in support of her second studio album, Stand Up.
