Narcos: Mexico will launch as a new Netflix original series later this year. Shifting away from Colombia, where Narcos spent three seasons, Narcos: Mexico will explore the origins of the modern drug war by going back to its roots, beginning at a time when the Mexican trafficking world was a loose and disorganized confederation of independent growers and dealers. Witness the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna) takes the helm, unifying traffickers in order to build an empire. When DEA agent Kiki Camarena (Michael Peña) moves his wife and young son from California to Guadalajara to take on a new post, he quickly learns that his assignment will be more challenging than he ever could have imagined. As Kiki garners intelligence on Félix and becomes more entangled in his mission, a tragic chain of events unfold, affecting the drug trade and the war against it for years to come.

Robert Randolph & the Family Band have announced their summer tour dates, including over a dozen festival appearances. ABC's “The View” averaged 2.582 million Total Viewers, 418,000 Women 25-54 and 282,000 Women 18-49 during the week of July 9, 2018, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “The View” beat CBS' “The Talk” (2.311 million, 350,000 and 246,000, respectively) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+271,000), Women 25-54 (+68,000) and Women 18-49 (+36,000). In addition, “The View” increased its leads from the same week last year (w/o 7/10/18) in Total Viewers (+38%; vs. +196,000) and Women 25-54 (+55%; vs. 44,000).

Known for her energetic stage shows and pioneering presence as a female artist, the one-and-only Wanda Jackson - popularly known as the Queen of Rockabilly and the First Lady of Rock & Roll - has returned to Nashville to work on new music. Fellow female Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame member, Joan Jett, is producing the project. The as-yet-unnamed project is currently anticipated for a 2019 release. After decades of recording covers, Jackson hit the writing room for this project, co-writing with many hit Nashville songwriters including Angaleena Presley of the Pistol Annies. 'Ex's and Oh's' singer Elle King also contributed a song to the project.

Pathway to Paris today announced a special concert on September 16 at The Theatre at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. Helping to cap off the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, the concert will focus on the potential for cities to push for, achieve, and go beyond the climate targets highlighted in the Paris Agreement.

More metal munching madness is headed to Science Channel as the network has picked up rights to air the robot fighting series ROBOT WARS. Filmed in an enormous bulletproof fighting arena that contains dangerous hazards such as fire, spikes, the flipper and the iconic pit, 40 of the top robot combat teams from all over the world compete for Robot Wars supremacy. ROBOT WARS is set for its U.S. premiere on Wednesday, August 8 at 10pm ET/PT.

Expanding on the popular podcast “Oprah's SuperSoul Conversations,” OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today it will launch the podcast version of its Emmy-nominated series “Oprah's Master Class” on Apple Podcasts. A sneak preview of the podcast featuring actor and producer Dwayne Johnson is available today, July 17, and the podcast will officially debut on Thursday, July 19 with hip-hop innovator and entrepreneur Jay-Z.
