Charlie Cox, Heather Lind, Geneva Carr, and Morgan Spector will soon star in Nick Payne's new play INCOGNITO at Manhattan Theatre Club. Tony winner Doug Hughes (THE FATHER, DOUBT, OUTSIDE MULLINGAR) will take the helm. INCOGNITO will begin its limited run on Tuesday, May 3 ahead of an official opening night of May 24 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). The power struggle between two musical geniuses in 18th century Vienna is at the center of Peter Shaffer's play "Amadeus" that will be presented by Spinning Tree Theatre, April 28 through May 15 at the Arts Asylum, 1000 E. 9th St., Kansas City, Missouri.

It will indeed be a historic introduction to our 2016 season when Family Musical Theater takes to the stage for their first show of the season, "Kiss Me, Kate". 

According to Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that Marvel Studios characters will be appearing in the untitled Spider-Man film, which is set to be released on July 7th, 2017. Given that Spider-Man is set to make an appearance in the Marvel Studios film Captain America: Civil War, it seems only fair that some of these characters would join Spidey in his solo ventures. 

Ariana Grande revealed in an interview with MTV News that Jason Robert Brown is set to perform with her on tomorrow's broadcast of the MTV Movie Awards. The pair, who first worked together on 13 THE MUSICAL, will be performing a rendition of 'Dangerous Woman.' Watch the full interview here!

Twenty-nine local students from the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will travel to Walt Disney World during the April school break to perform for Disney audiences and participate in master classes with Disney performers, choreographers and directors. This is FSPA's 21st year of Disney performances as part of the Disney Performing Arts Program.

Actors' Summit   Akron's Professional theater is pleased to announce the opening of the  1980 Pulitzer Prize winning play Talley's Folly, by Lanford Wilson. The show will have a preview performance on Thursday April 14 at  8 p.m. The opening night show is scheduled for Friday, April 15, 2016.  A dessert reception with the director and cast follows the performance on opening night. The show runs until May 1. 

Beyond the Usual and Bootleg Theater proudly present the World Premiere of Tell Me I'm Pretty, a hilarious and riveting new solo show - written and performed by Joshua Silverstein and directed by Diana Wyenn. Tackling race, gender, and poverty in America through storytelling, spoken word, vocal percussion, and hip hop, Tell Me I'm Pretty opens its five-week run at Bootleg Theater today, April 8, 2016. Rarely does a playwright's first play become an instant hit, but when Anna Longaretti's poignant comedy Sex Cells was first presented in 2013 at the Riverside Studios, London, it left audiences laughing and crying in equal measure. Ensemble Theatre, Australia's longest, non-funded continuously running professional theatre company has today been given a major gift of $300,000 from The Balnaves Foundation.
