Aurora Theatre Company founding Artistic Director Barbara Oliver returns to the company for its 21st season to directWILDER TIMES, a collection of one-act plays by Thornton Wilder. Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist and playwright, and former Berkeley resident, Thornton Wilder is best known for his full length play Our Town, but he was also an accomplished master of the short play form, specifically creating shorter works to be staged in spaces such as Aurora's, with the audience seated on three sides of the action or in the round.

PULP SHAKESPEARE, a "Best of Fest" winner at the 2011 Hollywood Fringe Fest, has been selected to be presented in the 2012 FringeNYC Encores Series. Out of the 187 productions in this year's FringeNYC Festival, PULP SHAKESPEARE is one of just fifteen chosen for an encore performance. Performances begin September 19 at the Soho Playhouse.

Philadelphia's Inis Nua Theatre Company will present the Philadelphia premiere of David Harrower's A Slow Air, running October 2-21 at the Off-Broad Street Theater in the First Baptist Church (1636 Sansom Street). A Slow Air premiered at Tron Theatre in Glasgow before a successful run at the 2011 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ, has released details of its 2013 season. This announcement comes on the heels of several recent successes, including the theatre's 18 Perry Award Nominations, as well as news of a major funding package from the Rural Development office of the United States Department of Agriculture.

Trinity Repertory Company has announced that it has received a $250,000 gift from former Nortek CEO and arts enthusiast Richard L. Bready to support its Theater for Every Generation Campaign. In celebration of this generous commitment, Trinity Rep's artistic director position, held by Curt Columbus, will be named "The Richard L. Bready Artistic Director" through June 2015.
