Target Margin Theater (David Herskovits, Artistic Director; John Del Gaudio, Artistic Producer) has announced plans for the upcoming 2012-2013 season with the launching of a two-season exploration of Yiddish Theater with Beyond the Pale, a look at domestic drama, philosophical drama, verse drama, avant-garde experimentation, political statement plays, and the good old nostalgic drama of the Shtetl. Like a comet across the sky, Yiddish culture exploded in creativity in the 19th and 20th centuries, and then went tragically dark. But the literature lives on.

A memorial celebration to honor the life and career of Ron Palillo, best known as Horshack on 'Welcome Back, Kotter' has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, 2012. The 6pm tribute will take place at The Triad Theatre, which is located at 158 West 72nd Street. Palillo died in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.on August, 14, 2012 of a heart attack.

By popular demand, Disney's THE LION KING will return to Omaha for the first time since its triumphant premiere engagement in January, 2005, where the production played a five-week sold-out run. Omaha's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Orpheum Theater stage on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 for a limited four-week engagement through Sunday, April 7, 2013. The musical is part of the Omaha Performing Arts' Broadway Series.
