Armed with $300 in his pocket, a beat up car and a passion for unconventional food and eccentric people, Justin travels the back roads of the South to try everything from moonshine and bacon beer to BBQ in a jar and jelly fish pasta. Along the way, Justin meets the cooks and proprietors who, like him, march to their own beat through the world of food.

Rachel Feinstein Comes to Comix in April

Rachel Feinstein first jumped on the scene as a Season 7 finalist in “Last Comic Standing.” This April, Feinstein will return to the Comix stage for three performances on Thursday, Apr. 4 at 8 p.m., Friday, Apr. 5 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Apr. 6 at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for general advance admission ($30 the day of), while VIP advance admission tickets are $40 ($50 the day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

Philadelphia Theatre Company has announced A. ZELL WILLIAMS as the recipient of the Terrence McNally New Play Award for the research and development of his play The Urban Retreat about a teacher whose writing career has taken a detour at the request of a former student-turned-Hip-Hop superstar. The Terrence McNally New Play Award is a $10,000 cash prize given annually to recognize a new play that celebrates the transformative power of art. The Award will also include a year of development support at PTC, including readings as well as administrative support and networking to help manage the future of the play beyond its time at PTC.

Carol Channing's 1970 Buick Electra will be up for auction at McCormick's Palm Springs Collector Car Auction, that stated today and goes through Sunday in the Spa Resort Casino parking lot. The Buick will take center stage along with a 1965 Mercedes 220 Cabrio used in the movie "Hangover." Carol says she plans to attend the auction.
