STAGES ST. LOUIS has announced new additions to the administrative staff. Lara Turek assumed the position of Manager of Donor Relations in January, Kristen Goodman has been promoted to Director of Institutional Advancement, and Eric Pugh is returning to his role as Marketing Director in late February.

Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed production of THE OTHER PLACE, the new play by Sharr White, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello begins the final performances of its extended engagement at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The limited engagement will play its final performance next Sunday, March 3. On that date, the show will have played 34 previews and 61 regular performances.

Acclaimed Director/Choreographer Jerry Mitchell will be honored with the 2013 'Mr. Abbott' Award for his outstanding artistry and creativity and breadth of his thirty-year career. The award will be presented at a gala event at B.B. King on Monday, May 13, 2013, from 7 - 10pm, with four-time Tony Award-winning playwright and actor Harvey Fierstein, a frequent collaborator of Jerry Mitchell, to emcee.

Philadelphia Dance Projects continues to present exciting work through its partnership with SCUBA Touring Network, an opportunity for local, emerging to mid-career dance artists to begin to tour nationally while offering audiences the chance to see artists' work from around the country. In 2013, this exchange takes place between Philadelphia's Green Chair Dance Group and Seattle's The Real Shannon Stewart. The Deep Dish Theater announces a slate of post-show discussions in conjunction with its production of Next to Normal, the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, playing March 1-17 at University Mall and March 22-24 at the Cary Arts Center. Each discussion will begin promptly after the performance.
