3K Pictures announces today that veteran sales agent Mimi Steinbauer and her company Radiant Films International is handling all worldwide rights excluding North America to director Sam Kadi's debut drama THE CITIZEN. Previously, Steinbauer has handled international sales on titles such as Academy Award winning THE HURT LOCKER, GHOSTRIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE 3D, BLUE VALENTINE and the box office phenomenon LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. THE CITIZEN was produced by Kadi, Chris Wyatt (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE) and Alan Noel Vega, with Ameer Kabour executive producing. The film is currently scheduled to screen for distributors at the upcoming American Film Market after the international premiere at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival on October 14th.

On Monday, November 5th at 9:30pm at the Triad Theatre, 158 West 72nd Street, Rhonda Ross, the only daughter of legendary superstar Diana Ross and business mogul Berry Gordy, performs refreshing, emotive, jazz-inspired songs demonstrating 'the apple don't fall far from the tree.' The Twin Cities Horror Festival is has announced the full 2012 festival schedule. For ten days this fall, seven different groups present 5 performances each in an exploration of the genres of horror through a multitude of performance disciplines at the Southern Theater. The festival features local theater, storytelling, dance and music artists presenting their take on the theme of "horror." The festival will present more than 30 performances over two weekends with a free costume and dance party from 5:30pm-9:30pm on Halloween Night.

James Levine, the Metropolitan Opera's Music Director, will return to conducting on May 19, 2013 with the MET Orchestra at Carnegie Hall. He will then lead three operas in the Met's 2013-14 season, including a new production of Verdi's Falstaff and revivals of Mozart's Cosi fan tutte and Berg's Wozzeck. He will also conduct all three Carnegie Hall concerts that season.

In May 1954, the musical The Pajama Game opened at the St. James Theatre, where it ran for 1,063 performances. It opened in the West End the following year, played Broadway most recently in a 2006 revival starring Kelli O'Hara and Harry Connick Jr., and, according to The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, is now slated to play Chichester Festival's Minerva Theatre in early 2013.
