PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT Tickets Go On Sale in Minneapolis, 10/19October 15, 2012Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that individual tickets for Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the musical about three friends on the road trip of a lifetime, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012. Called "a rollicking crowd-pleaser in sequins" by Variety, Priscilla will make its national tour debut at the Trust's Orpheum Theatre January 8-13, 2013. Beginning at 10 a.m., tickets will be sold online through HennepinTheatreTrust.org, in person at the State Theatre Box Office or by calling 1.800.982.2787 or visiting a Ticketmaster Ticket Center. It is part of Hennepin Theatre Trust's 2012/13 Broadway Across America-Minneapolis Season. Press opening night will be Wednesday, January 9.
Culture Project's THE EXONERATED Extends Through December 2October 15, 2012Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Founder & Artistic Director), in association with Innocence Project, Marc & Steven Kaplan, and Cheryl Wiesenfeld, has announced a 4-week extension of the acclaimed 10th anniversary production of the hit award-winning play, The Exonerated, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen. The animals eat, mate, splash around in identity politics, meditate on their impending extinction, and love one another as only families can.
