The Students of the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education Present: A GHOST TALE FOR MR. DICKENS, 12/7-9December 4, 2012The students of the Warner Theatre Center for Arts Education will present the world premiere ofA Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens December 7-9 in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre.
A Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens is based on the beloved children's book, A Ghost Tale For Christmas Time, by bestselling local author Mary Pope Osborne! Jack and Annie are whisked back in time to Victorian England and the foggy streets of London where they discover that Charles Dickens is haunted by sad memories and has vowed never to write another book. With a bit of magic and the help of three ghosts, the kids are able to inspire Mr. Dickens to write his most beloved tale: A Christmas Carol!

Hartford Children's Theatre to Take Final Bow at the End of This YearDecember 4, 2012Hartford Children's Theatre (HCT) announced today they will close and end all programming, including their children's theatre educational programs, at the end of December 2012. Hartford Stage simultaneously announced that it will expand its children's theatre drama education and outreach programs starting in January 2013.
