Theatre Communications Group (TCG) is pleased to announce the publication of Tony Kushner's critically acclaimed screenplay for Lincoln, now a major motion picture directed by Steven Spielberg. Inspired by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Doris Kearns Goodwin's book, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, the published screenplay of Lincoln will contain eight pages of color photos from the film. The book will be released on January 22, 2013, and is now available for pre-order via the TCG website.

A new study released today on the economic impact of New York State's film and television production tax credits finds that production incentives supported 28,900 jobs across all sectors of the state's economy and generated $6.9 billion in economic spending in the state in 2011. The study was conducted by HR&A Advisors and assesses the economic and fiscal impact of production tax credits on the state in 2011, the most recent full year for which data is available. The study also finds that the jobs HR&A analyzed within the film and television production industry in New York State grew by nearly 25 percent between 2008 and 2011, while private sector employment as a whole declined by 1.6 percent in New York State during the same time frame.

Cinderella and her colorful friends return to Raleigh Little Theatre (RLT) this holiday season, opening Thursday, December 6. This year marks both the 29th anniversary and the 300th performance of this production, which was first performed on December 13, 1984. The Recording Academy® has announced the selection of artist Erika Iris Simmons to create the official artwork for the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards®.
