All proceeds from CLLAW XV will benefit Sideshow Theatre and its partner charity, Girl's Rock! Chicago.

Rehearsals are underway for the world-premiere production of the Goodman-commissioned Teddy Ferrara by Pulitzer Prize finalist Christopher Shinn, praised as 'among the most provocative and probing of American playwrights today' (The New York Times). Evan Cabnet directs this stirring exploration of an on-campus tragedy with a cast that includes Liam Benzvi (Gabe), Patrick Clear (University President), Rashaad Hall (Nicky), Ryan Heindl (Teddy Ferrara), Christopher Imbrosciano (Jay), Jax Jackson (Jaq), Dev Kennedy and Fawzia Mirza (Campus Police), Paloma Nozicka (Jenny), Adam Poss (Drew), Josh Salt (Tim), Kelli Simpkins (Ellen) and Janet Ulrich Brooks (University Provost). The design team includes Jenny Mannis (Costume Designer), Keith Parham (Lighting Designer), Lee Savage (Set Designer) and Richard Woodbury (Sound Designer). The City of Arvada has announced the hiring of Philip C. Sneed as the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities new Executive Director. The announcement concludes a seven month national search to fill the Center's top position. Sneed who currently serves as the Producing Artistic Director of the Colorado Shakespeare Festival will assume his duties beginning February 4, 2013.

The University of Texas at Austin Department of Theatre and Dance presents the world premiere of Suzan Zeder's The Edge of Peace, February 1 - 10 at the B. Iden Payne Theatre. Set in the last days of World War II, a young soldier from a small Illinois town has been declared missing in action. Buddy, the soldier's little brother, refuses to believe what seems inevitable. Told through the visual poetry of sign language, the town's deaf postman shares the story of one community struggling to make sense of a world at war.

Ghost & Spice Productions, a long-running member of the rich and vibrant Triangle theatre community, will be canceling the remainder of its season. The successful run of Harold and Maude in October will serve as their final production.

Westport Country Playhouse's next Script in Hand playreading will be the award-winning play "Intimate Apparel" by Lynn Nottage, set for one-night-only on Monday, February 11, 7 p.m. All tickets are $15. The cast includes Geneva Carr, Lynda Gravatt, Donnetta Lavinia Grays, Billy Eugene Jones, Paul Anthony Stewart, and Susan Kelechi Watson. Director is Anne Keefe, Playhouse artistic advisor.

DanceWorks, Toronto's longest-running contemporary dance series, DanceWorks, will present the Toronto premiere of HomoBLABLAtus from Montreal's acclaimed La Otra Orilla, part of Harbourfront Centre's NextSteps, running February 15-16, 2013 at Enwave Theatre.

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff/Artistic Producer) will present three staged readings of "Casanova", a new musical with music by Martin Sylvestri, book and lyrics by Joel Higgins, directed by Gabriel Barre. The readings will take place on Wednesday, February 6th at 6:00pm, and Thursday, February 7th at 3:00pm and 7:00pm at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street.
