The Jewish Museum will present Bubbe Meises, a reading performance with artist Eleanor Antin, on Monday, January 28 at 11:30am. Antin will read excerpts of Conversations with Stalin, her unpublished coming-of-age memoir about growing up in a family of first generation Jewish immigrants in New York City. This program is the first of a series in which Antin will read the complete Conversations with Stalin over the course of a week at four different venues in New York City. Additional readings will take place at Ronald Feldman Fine Arts on January 29 at 6pm; the Brooklyn Museum on January 31 at 7pm; and the Whitney Museum of American Art on February 1 at 6:30pm. Eleanor Antin's Conversations with Stalin is a smart, no holds barred, black comedy in the picaresque tradition of Holden Caulfield and Huck Finn.

The Ma-Yi Theater Company will present the East Coast premiere of JESUS IN INDIA, a new play by Lloyd Suh (American Hwangap), directed by Daniella Topol. Know Theatre has announced When The Rain Stops Falling by Andrew Bovell, acclaimed Australian playwright and author of Speaking in Tongues (recently seen at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in 2012). Good Theater has received a $5,000 grant from the Davis Family Foundation to assist with the upcoming production of DEATH BY DESIGN. DEATH BY DESIGN will receive its East Coast premiere at Good Theater opening January 30 and running through February 24. New York playwright, Rob Urbinati, is the author of DEATH BY DESIGN.

Applications are now available for the 2013 Pittsburgh CLO Summer Internship Program. Infused with elements of classic rock'n'roll, 90s alternative rock and modern indie elements, Midnight Spin will release their debut album Don't Let Me Sleep today. In conjunction with the albums' release, we are giving away the title track 'Don't Let Me Sleep,' which just premiered on Rolling Stone. 'The song was sort of a prayer-like plea just hoping I could literally stay awake long enough to finish making the album, ' says Midnight Spin's lead singer Mike Corbett. 'I wrote the lyrics around 3 A.M. one night and recorded the vocals at the studio a few hours later.'
