William Shatner Guest Stars on USA's 'Psych'

The multiple Emmy award winner actor and TV legend William Shatner will guest on the sixth season of USA's fan favorite series PSYCH. Shatner will play 'Frank O'Hara,' the estranged father of Detective Juliet O'Hara (Maggie Lawson), a charming con man who wants to mend his broken relationship with his daughter. But when the opportunity to pull off a dream con is presented to him, his decision to stay on the right side of the law becomes more complicated.

Production has begun in Hollywood on 'Jessie,' a new comedy series starring 18-year-old Debby Ryan ('The Suite Life on Deck,' '16 Wishes') as an idealistic teen from rural Texas who moves to New York City and becomes a nanny for a high-profile couple with four kids. The series is scheduled to premiere in fall 2011 on Disney Channel.

New York Stage and Film and Vassar College recently announced the full line-up of their 2011 Powerhouse Theater season, now entering its 27th year. The result of a unique collaboration between New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, the program consists of an eight-week residency on the Vassar campus (124 Raymond Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY) during which more than 200 professional artists and some 40 apprentices live and work together to create new theater works. The 2011 Main Stage season kicks off with Patricia Wettig's F2M (June 29 - July 10).

The film's production designer Nicola Walter also attended both screenings. GCIFF had a second screening on June 5.
