Everything Goes! The Music of Cole Porter features several of Porter's most famous songs as well as some of his lesser-known gems. Among the numbers being performed in this all-singing, all-dancing revue are mainstays, including 'In the Still of the Night' sung a cappella by the entire cast, 'Night and Day,' 'I Love Paris' and 'Begin the Beguine.' The show also features rarely heard Porter tunes such as 'Live and Let Live' and 'Ritz Rock and Roll.'

Capital Stage, a nonprofit, professional, theatre company in Sacramento, is noticing a very promising trend. The Capital Stage Logo arts organization, currently in its sixth season, begins 2011 in the black and is seeing a significant increase in ticket sales.

Act II Playhouse presents the second of two wintertime special events when Barrymore Award winner and Act II favorite Tony Braithwaite hosts Heeere's Tony!, an original talk-show comedy. Braithwaite's performance is on stage at Act II Feb. 2-20, 2011.

The new play THE LUCK OF THE IRISH by Huntington Playwriting Fellow Kirsten Greenidge Bossa Nova will be read Thursday, February 3 at 7pm as part of the Huntington Theatre Company's Breaking Ground reading series. Obie Award winner Melia Bensussen Circle Mirror Transformation directs. The reading, located at the Huntington Rehearsal Hall, is free and open to the public, though reservations are required as seating is limited.

The Windham Theatre Guild presents a delightful romantic comedy as the February production. Come and enjoy a fable about two witches, a warlock, an apartment house, the young man upstairs, an eccentric aunt, and a writer obsessed with writing a book on the existence of witches. As the precursor to the TV series 'Bewitched', this play became a Golden Globe award winning movie for Best Picture starring James Stewart and Kim Novak.

By popular demand, FREUD'S LAST SESSION is set to reopen on January 14th. The Off-Broadway premiere engagement of FREUD'S LAST SESSION, a new play by Mark St. Germain, opened on July 22, 2010 to rave reviews and immediately became a sellout sensation at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater, 10 West 64th Street (at Central Park West). Due to a prior December booking commitment at the theatre, the limited engagement of FREUD'S LAST SESSION concluded performances as scheduled on November 28th. After the initial run continued to play to sellout houses in its final weeks, the producers made the decision to reopen the play as soon as the theatre would be once again available in January. FREUD'S LAST SESSION stars Mark H. Dold as C.S. Lewis and Martin Rayner as Sigmund Freud, under the direction of Tyler Marchant.

Burning Coal Theatre Company, a small professional theatre based in Raleigh, North Carolina opened its world premiere production of Blue, by Raleigh playwright Kelly Doyle, directed by Mark Sutch.

The words will be Shakespearean, but the setting will be F. Scott Fitzgeraldean when The Human Race, Dayton's own professional theatre company, brings The Bard's great comedy to The Loft Theatre beginning January 27. The tale of mistaken identity, misguided romance and miscreants plotting nefarious schemes will be set in 1920s America instead of ancient Illyria.
