Then, in episode eight, Clea and Joanna tackle their largest project yet when they meet with actress and social media mogul Shay Mitchell to reorganize her studio and glam space. Clea and Joanna also attempt to shake up their unhealthy travel routine by taking a Pilates class.

A king of the swing era of big band music, Kay Kyser, will be recognized with a N.C. Highway Historical Marker, Oct. 5, at 4 p.m. in his hometown. Kyser was born in Rocky Mount and went on to become perhaps the best-known bandleader in America. The marker dedication will be at First United Methodist Church Annex, 273 Sunset Ave., Rocky Mount, N.C. It will be. followed by a musical performance at the Imperial Centre at 270 Gay St. in Rocky Mount.

City Winery Chicago has announced that Katharine McPhee will perform on Monday, November 5th. City Winery also announced many other shows, including its annual 10,000 Maniacs Valentine's run. During the week of Sept. 10, 2018, “Live with Kelly and Ryan” built over premiere week by 11% among Women 25-54 (1.0 rating vs. 0.9 rating) and held even week to week among Households (2.1 rating). In fact, “Live” grew to a new 15-week high in Women 25-54, while tying its top Household rating in 15 weeks – since the week of 5/28/18.

ABC Talent and Casting will present the 2018 ABC Discovers: New York Talent Showcase, TUESDAY, SEPT. 25 at the New World Stages – Stage 2, in New York City. Part of Disney|ABC Television's ongoing commitment to create opportunities for undiscovered talent, the showcase features selected participants performing in a one-night showcase for casting directors, talent agents, managers and other industry professionals. In addition, the selected showcase actors are awarded a one-year mentorship with executives from the ABC Casting Department. As part of the mentorship, the showcase actors will be offered on-camera workshops specifically for them to further hone their craft and auditioning skills. Talent will also have access to various ABC and ABC Studios executives.

From 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's season 27 premiere of “Dancing with the Stars” drew 8.1 million viewers and a 1.1/4 in Adults 18-49, marking the ABC unscripted series' closest finish ever among young adults to the season opener of NBC's “The Voice.” Versus the year-ago night (9/25/17), “DWTS” trimmed its margin with “The Voice” premiere by 400,000 Total Viewers (-1.5 million vs. -1.9 million) and by 3-tenths of a rating point among Adults 18-49 (-0.9 rating points vs. -1.2 rating points). Last year's 1.2 rating point gap was previously its narrowest margin with “The Voice” opener, prior to last night's 0.9 rating point difference.
