Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI) and Pandora Media, Inc. (NYSE: P) today announced a definitive agreement under which SiriusXM will acquire Pandora in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $3.5 billion. The combination creates the world's largest audio entertainment company, with more than $7 billion in expected pro-forma revenue in 2018 and strong, long-term growth opportunities.

The Streamy Awards will join forces with Milk-Bone to award one amazing dog with this special recognition. Telemundo announced today that Colombian multi-genre singer and social media powerhouse Maluma will be the recipient of the Extraordinary Evolution Award at the upcoming “Latin American Music Awards” (Latin AMAs). The Extraordinary Evolution Award is a special award presented to a young performer who has demonstrated change and accelerated growth as an artist, to reach the pinnacle of success in a short period of time. Maluma has also confirmed his participation as a performer at the Latin AMAs, which will broadcast live from the prestigious Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California, on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 8pm/7c, preceded by the one-hour carpet pre-show “La Alfombra de Latin AMAs” at 7pm/6c. The show will also air simultaneously on Spanish-language entertainment cable network, Universo.

American Composers Orchestra (ACO) will open its 2018-2019 season with a concert titled Phenomenal Women presented by Carnegie Hall in Zankel Hall on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 7:30pm. The performance, conducted by ACO Music Director George Manahan, will feature the world premiere of Valerie Coleman's Phenomenal Women performed by the Imani Winds with ACO; as well as the world premiere of Alex Temple's Three Principles of Noir with singer Meaghan Burke, director Amber Treadway, and costumes by Storm Garner. Grammy and Grawemeyer Award-winning composer Joan Tower's Chamber Dance from 2006, which treats the orchestra as a chamber ensemble, completes the program.

The San Diego International Film Festival (SDiFF), produced by the San Diego Film Foundation, announced today that they will honor Topher Grace, from Spike Lee's Awards-contender “BlacKkKlansman,” with the Cinema Vanguard Award, while Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins will also receive this year's inaugural Music Icon Award. The awards will be presented October 11th at The Night of the Stars Tribute at the Pendry San Diego in Downtown San Diego, CA.

CineConcerts announces a once-in-a-lifetime live concert event: the 25th anniversary celebration of Rudy In Concert, live at the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on November 10th, 2018. Conducted by Justin Freer, the 80-piece Hollywood Chamber Orchestra will perform Oscar? and Emmy?-winning composer Jerry Goldsmith's complete score live while the entire film is projected on a massive 40-foot HD screen. This 1993 American biographical sports film's first live concert premiere will help raise funds for The University of Notre Dame and regional Southern California high schools with support from The CineConcerts Foundation. The third installment of the Kingsman film series will be released on November 9, 2019, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This release date had been previously reserved for Bond 25, which has been pushed to early 2020.

 International superstar Celine Dion has announced today that more than 15 years after the premiere of her first critically-acclaimed Las Vegas residency, her second production Celine at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will come to an end on June 8, 2019. Tickets for the final performance and additional 2019 show dates (Feb. 26 through Mar. 16 and May 14 through June 8) will go on sale to the public beginning Friday, Sept 28 at 10 a.m. PST.

Walt Disney Direct-to-Consumer & International announced today that it has cleared its new syndicated daytime talk show hosted by Tamron Hall on the ABC Owned Television Stations Group for fall 2019. Last month the company announced that it is working with Hall to create and develop a daytime talk show for the syndication marketplace that will be hosted by the award-winning TV anchor and journalist.
