ABC's “The View” averaged 2.913 million Total Viewers, 444,000 Women 25-54 and 310,000 Women 18-49, during the week of Oct. 8, 2018, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “The View” beat CBS' “The Talk” (2.273 million, 340,000 and 247,000, respectively) during the week in Total Viewers (+640,000), Women 25-54 (+104,000) and Women 18-49 (+63,000). “The View” delivered its largest leads in Total Viewers since April, in Women 25-54 since February and in Women 18-49 since March – since weeks of 4/16/18, 2/12/18 and 3/19/18, respectively, based on original telecasts.

GRAMMY-Award winning singer and songwriter Meghan Trainor will perform LIVE at AT&T Stadium during the nationally televised halftime of the Dallas Cowboys game against the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving Day, kicking off The Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Campaign. Donations to the iconic campaign help provide shelter and meals for the homeless and hungry, and Christmas toys for millions of children, in addition to numerous other social service programs year-round.

Walt Disney Records is set to release the original motion picture soundtrack to Disney's 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms'on October 26. Composer James Newton Howard was tapped to create the score and it was recorded by The Philharmonia Orchestra in London with esteemed conductor Gustavo Dudamel. Featuring world-renowned pianist Lang Lang. Disney's holiday feature film 'The Nutcracker and the Four Realms' opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 2.

It was announced today at Mipcom that a  musical adaptation of 'Train Man' is in the works in the U.S., according to Deadline. The hit Japanese series will be made into a musical for American audiences by 'Everybody Loves Raymond' creator Phil Rosenthal and writer-executive producer Tucker Cawley. Adam Shankman (Hairspray) is set to direct and executive produce.

dick clark productions and Tubefilter announced today that R&B singer-songwriter-producer Montell Jordan will close out the 8th Annual Streamy Awards with his platinum-selling hit single, “This Is How We Do It.” Released in 1995, Jordan's debut single peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks and was also No. 1 for seven weeks on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. BlameItOnKway, Molly Burke, Sofie Dossi, Katie Angel, Annie LeBlanc, Elle Mills, Jason Nash, Trisha Paytas, Poppy, Andrea Russett, Alyson Stoner, Christine Sydelko and Nick Viall have been added as presenters.
