Last summer, the "American Idol" bus visited 24 cities across the nation in search of a superstar. As previously announced, viewers at home will be able to follow the inspiring journey starting SUNDAY, MARCH  3 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, when the first crop of Idol hopefuls audition for their shot at a ticket to Hollywood. The cross-country audition tour will move forward with an all-new episode on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), rounding out a talent-filled premiere week. New episodes will continue on Sunday, starting MARCH 10 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), and adds Mondays for five consecutive weeks, starting MARCH 18 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT).

 Oxygen Media, the destination for high-quality crime programming, kicks off a new season of true crime investigative series “Cold Justice” on Saturday, February 16 at 6 pm ET/PT with a two-part season premiere. The series follows veteran prosecutor Kelly Siegler and her rotating team of seasoned detectives – Johnny Bonds, Steve Spingola, Aaron Sam, Tonya Rider and Abbey Abbondandolo, as they travel to small towns to dig into unsolved homicide cases that have lingered for years without answers or justice for the victims. Working alongside local law enforcement from across the country, the “Cold Justice” team has successfully helped bring about 38 arrests and 19 convictions. 

The documentary feature film On Va Continuer!, recipient of the 2018 #CreateLouisiana French Culture Film Grant, will have its world premiere Sunday, February 17thduring the 2019 French Film Festival taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, will open its 18th edition with the world premiere of the HBO Documentary Film The Apollo. Helmed by Academy and Emmy Award-winning director Roger Ross Williams, The Apollo chronicles the unique history and contemporary legacy of the New York City landmark, the Apollo Theater. The film will debut at the iconic theater itself on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 and later this year on HBO. The feature-length documentary weaves together archival footage, music, comedy and dance performances, and behind-the-scenes verité with the team that makes the theater run. The Apollo features interviews with artists including Patti LaBelle, Pharrell Williams, Smokey Robinson, and Jamie Foxx. The documentary is produced by Lisa Cortés, Nigel Sinclair's White Horse Pictures, and Williams. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival runs April 24-May 5.

The nominees for the 50th NAACP Image Awards were exclusively announced today at the Television Critics Association's (TCA) TV One's joint press conference with Derrick Johnson, President and CEO of the NAACP and Alfred Liggins, Chairman and CEO of TV One. The winners will be revealed during the Two-Hour LIVE TV special airing on TV One on Saturday, March 30, 2019.

CBS All Access, CBS' digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, today announced Ginnifer Goodwin will star in the service's upcoming darkly comedic drama WHY WOMEN KILL. Goodwin joins previously announced cast member Lucy Liu. Created by Marc Cherry (“Desperate Housewives,” “Devious Maids”), WHY WOMEN KILL details the lives of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the '60s, a socialite in the '80s and a lawyer in 2018, each dealing with infidelity in their marriages. The series will examine how the roles of women have changed, but how their reaction to betrayal... has not. WHY WOMEN KILL is produced by Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios.

Sometimes with adversity comes a certain freedom. When Nat Freedberg, guitarist, singer and songwriter behind The Upper Crust, The Titanics and The Flies (among other stellar Boston bands) suffered nerve damage and surgery, he was despondent at first when confronting his guitar playing. As he recounts it, “It occurred to me that I'd never been a technical virtuoso to begin with, then I felt better straightaway.” The prospect of ending his decades-long career in music fueled the idea of recording a collection of his unreleased songs, albeit with no real strategy or a real band. Better Late Than Never comes out Friday, February 15th on Rum Bar Records.

In late 2016 at the age of only 14, Kentucky musician Will Muse decided he wanted to use his music in a positive way. Combining his passion for helping others with his love for music, Will founded Music for Wishes, an annual fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish® Foundation, which he planned and organized with the help of family, friends, committee members, and a supportive community. Recently, the 2019 event was held in Will's hometown of Somerset, Kentucky at the Center for Rural Development, raising $35,247, topping the previous year's donations. In just three short years Music For Wishes has generated more than $85,000 for Make-A-Wish®.

Austin-based band Moving Panoramas have revealed the latest single 'In Tune' from their highly anticipated sophomore album In Two out February 22 via Modern Outsider (pre-order). 'In Tune' which features Matthew Caws from Nada Surf premiered at PopMatters and can also be shared at Soundcloud.
