Lydia Ainsworth, the acclaimed singer/songwriter/producer, announced her third album Phantom Forest today, due out May 10. The record, the follow up to 2017's Darling of the Afterglow and her first since relocating from Toronto to Los Angeles, is themed around the precarious state of nature in the modern world. The Fader announced the album today and premiered the video for the first single 'Can You Find Her Place,' calling the single 'one of her catchiest compositions yet' and adding, ' Ainsworth's vocals work in tandem to catch light and color from new and exciting angles.'

Sisters Leah and Chloe Smith, known musically as Rising Appalachia, are proud to announce their new full-length album Leylines, releasing May 3rd, 2019, and the album's first single “Harmonize” releasing today. Leylines, the band's seventh studio album, was produced byJoe Henry—the album title alluding to the concept of invisible lines believed to stretch around the world between sacred spaces, bonded by a spiritual and magnetic presence. Just in time for Valentine's Day, acclaimed singers-songwriters-entertainers Will & Anthony Nunziata release a brand-new version of their original song “The Gift Is You” - a song they wrote with hit-songwriter Jeff Franzel. The brothers wrote the song last year after learning of their mother's breast cancer diagnosis. It's been three years in the making, but Australian indie-rock luminaries Little May have announced their highly-anticipated second album, Blame My Body (out May 3 via Dew Process / Universal Music Australia), along with a fiery new single, 'Apples.' Consequence of Sound premiered it Tuesday and said 'Glimmering, catchy guitars serve as a contrast to singer Liz Drummond's melancholy musings, as Little May combine bits of '90s alternative rock (think Liz Phair, Smashing Pumpkins) with more modern-day fuzzy dream pop (a lá Warpaint, Dum Dum Girls).'

Holy Ghost!,  the NYC-based duo of Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel, have confirmed news of a third album coming later this year on West End Records exclusively via Pitchfork. This spring, 18 animated short stories presented by Tim Miller (Deadpool, upcoming untitled Terminator sequel) and David Fincher (MINDHUNTER, Gone Girl, House of Cards) land on Netflix in it's first ever animated adult anthology series.
