Simon Bonney has released his compilation album Past, Present, Future today on Mute.  Past, Present, Future includes songs from his last two albums Forever (1992) and Everyman (1994) as well as 6 new tracks for an unreleased album Eyes of Blue. To celebrate its twenty five year anniversary, Lightning Seeds are reissuing their seminal album Jollification, out September 6th via Sony Music. The 1994 LP, which would go on to sell 900,000 copies, was the Liverpudlian outfit's third album and spawned the singles 'Lucky You', 'Marvellous', 'Change' and 'Perfect'. To coincide with the re-release of the platinum record, Lightning Seeds will be performing Jollification in its entirety and in a way that it has never been performed live before, with the atmosphere and instrumentation of the original album very much to the fore. There will also be a Greatest Hits set, including 'Pure', 'Life of Riley', 'Sugar Coated Iceberg' and many of the other stand-out and most well-known tracks of their career. The shows will take place at the London Palladium on November 7th and the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on November 27th.

Operators, the synth-pop band have shared another new track, “I Feel Emotion”, off their forthcoming sophomore LP Radiant Dawn, out May 17th on Last Gang. The band, featuring Dan Boeckner (Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs, Divine Fits), Devojka, and Sam Brown (Divine Fits, New Bomb Turks), teamed up with directors Caleb Bardgett and Johnny Dunn for the song's video, who explain that “its set in a world newly-devoid of human life, and these TV sets are the last artifacts of human emotion, playing loops from lost transmissions from some other space-time.”  Pre-order Radiant Dawn HERE.

Today, Montreal native singer-songwriter Jesse Mac Cormack released his mesmerizing new album, Now, via Secret City Records. With the release, Jesse also shared the polychromatic music video for his fervent new song “Stay.”

 Genre-defying artist and songwriter Marshall announces that his solo debut album Layerswill be released June 21st. Preeminent Los Angeles punk band Bad Religion will release their anticipated new album Age Of Unreason today via Epitaph Records. The record is the storied band's 17th studio album and offers a fiery and intensely relevant musical response to the times, with songs that address a myriad of socio-political maladies, including conspiracy theories, racist rallies, Trump's election, the erosion of the middle class, alternative facts and more. South Londoners ALASKALASKA have today released their astonishing debut record The Dots on Marathon Artists. Yesterday, May 2, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced its 2019 FilmWatch and FilmCraft grant recipients, which included the Jacob Burns Film Center (Pleasantville, NY), a nonprofit five-screen cinema and education center and one of the most successful suburban art houses in the country. The $10,000 FilmCraft grant will support JBFC's inaugural REMIX Artist-in Residence.

Featured on the record is a song with Beck, entitled “Night Running,” and today they debut its music videodirected by Jennifer Juniper Stratford. “For 'Night Running,' I wanted to create a realm where a super computer that hosts a simulation program creates a series artificial worlds,” said Stratford. “While Beck would appear to live within the software as a master control, Matt would be transported to different worlds and new identities leaving him to question what is real.”

Paramount Network is expanding its Jon Taffer-led 'Rescue' franchise with Marriage Rescue, a new original non-scripted series following Taffer as he helps couples whose relationships are on the brink of failure. The six one-hour episode series, which released its official trailer today, premieres Sunday, June 2 at 10pm ET/PT. Additionally, Paramount Network ordered a 12 episode seventh season of the long-running hit series Bar Rescue, with new episodes of season six currently airing on Sundays at 10pm ET/PT. Both Marriage Rescue and Bar Rescue are produced by 3 Ball Entertainment.
