Rite of Summer will present free outdoor concerts from June through September.  In a locale The New York Times has called a “Playground for the Arts,” the aim of the Festival is simple: to present the highest quality live performances, and to bring free contemporary classical music to as many people as possible in a relaxed, fun, outdoor setting.

General-entertainment network INSP, the leader in Western & Western adjacent-themed programming, today announced it has greenlitUltimate Cowboy Showdown, a reality competition series designed to determine the ultimate modern day cowboy.  The series, which will air as a 6-night event, will be hosted by country music icon, Trace Adkins. Fathom Events will bring beloved entertainer Luciano Pavarotti's story to movie theaters across the country on June 4 with a screening event designed to bring the life and performances of one of the great operatic voices to the masses. This exclusive screening will give audiences the first chance to experience the new documentary film 'Pavarotti.' From his earliest beginnings to the very last days of his life, the Ron Howard-directed film follows the renowned singer over the course of his prolific career, revealing previously unknown details about the legendary tenor; and harnessing the incredible sounds and music from the man credited for bringing an 'elite art form to the masses.' The June 4 event, which is the lead-up to the film's North American theatrical release on June 7, includes a special introduction from Howard, in which he speaks to his unique role as director and personal connection to the project.

NATPE's LA Screenings Independents announced today a new set of speakers to be featured at the first-ever “Producers Summit,” which will kick off the week long marketplace and conference. The “Producers Summit,” which will be produced by NATPE, on Monday, May 13th, is designed to educate, inform and provide connectivity for attendees, including content producers, exhibitors and buyers from around the world.
