Nashville's Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors have announced a nationwide headlining tour this fall in support of forthcoming full-length studio album, Dragons, due out on August 16th, 2019 via Thirty Tigers. From late June through the end of August, Westbury-based NEFCU, in coordination with hospitality provider Centerplate and the Rick Eberle Agency/GNR Events, will present a full slate of music concerts, line dancing performances and special children's music and movie events to be held under the famed bandshell at Field 4 on the Jones Beach Boardwalk.

The Opelika Songwriters Festival, a new annual event based in Opelika, Alabama, has added Shawn Mullins as the headliner for the festival, which will entertain music fans at its inaugural celebration over Memorial Day Weekend (May 24-26, 2019) at multiple venues in the town's historic downtown. Opelika recording studio/event center The Sound Wall and Russell Carter Artist Management out of Atlanta (producer of the 30A Songwriters Festival in Florida) are co-producing the event in conjunction with The Arts Association of East Alabama. Confirmed sponsors include the City of Opelika, Auburn Opelika Tourism, Opelika Observer, W. Los Angeles rock band Teenage Wrist release a new 3-song EP Counting Fliestoday via Epitaph Records. It is the follow-up release to the band's 2018 release Chrome Neon Jesus. 

The Hate U Give star and celebrated advocate Amandla Stenberg is set to star in the new musical drama, The Eddy, at Netflix, according to Deadline. The Hate U Give star will co-star alongside Andre Holland.

ABC Radio will provide three specials to affiliates for use over Memorial Day weekend: “Country Summer Road Trip,” “A Decade of Rock Hits” and “America Remembers 2019.”

The XFL today announced multi-year agreements with ESPN and FOX Sports to televise XFL games starting with its inaugural 2020 season. XFL games will air weekly on broadcast TV (ABC and FOX) complemented by games on cable (ESPN, ESPN2, FS1 and FS2). The XFL TV schedule allows for consistent appointment viewing each week with back-to-back games starting Saturday afternoons at 2 pm ET as well as two additional games on Sunday afternoons.

REELZ today announced new original programming for June 2019 including four new specials, a new documentary and a returning series. Real stories behind the music continue with the special The Michael Jackson Story examining the King of Pop's meteoric rise to fame and legacy tarnished by controversy. And finally the special Farrah Fawcett: Behind Closed Doors is an intimate look at the life of the beloved star who left an everlasting mark on entertainment and culture.

CBS News President and Senior Executive Producer Susan Zirinsky today announced a new weekday anchor lineup naming Norah O'Donnell Anchor and Managing Editor of the CBS EVENING NEWS and Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil Co-Hosts of CBS THIS MORNING.

Presented by New Jersey/New York fixture Joe D'Urso and Halmar International, the 6th annual Rockland-Bergen Music Festival kicks off on Wednesday, June 19 at Levity Live in West Nyack, NY with the Rockland County Music Awards. For the first time in its history the festival will span five days and four music venues, featuring headlining sets from Steve Earle & The Dukes and American songwriting legend John Prine at German Masonic Park in Tappan, NY on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 respectively. This will serve as Prine's only metro-area performance of the summer.

The tour will include over 25+ dates across North America, kicking off on September 3 in Riverside, CA before concluding in Minneapolis, MN on October 19. 

The Allman Betts Band has announced that their debut album Down To The River (BMG) will be released everywhere on June 28. The first single, “All Night” is due out on May 17.

Last night, Kristin Chenoweth was a guest on 'Watch What Happens Live.' During the interview, Chenoweth tells host Andy Cohen about the first time she met Ariana Grande, calling her "one of the best singers on the planet."
