TODAY was the number-one morning show last week topping “Good Morning America” in the key demo A25-54. The win marks 180 consecutive weeks in first place, TODAY's best demo streak in more than six years. TODAY won in total viewers Wednesday and came within just 29,000 viewers of GMA for the week. TODAY also posted its biggest total viewer lead over CBS in more than three months.

Some of the world's biggest pop acts and DJs are locked in for the second ever edition of Summer Daze Malta. The newly expanded event will take place on 11-17th August at various venues across the idyllic Mediterranean island.

Interested in inspiring kids to flex their creative muscle?  The Boston International Kids Film Festival has opened registration for its annual summer film school for children. FC Academy provides week-long film classes for middle school kids, taking them through the entire filmmaking process, ending the week having produced their own short film. The story of Amadjar – the new album from the Grammy award-winning Tuareg musicians Tinariwen - begins at the end of October 2018 at the Taragalte Festival of nomadic cultures in the Moroccan Sahara. Following their appearance at the festival, Tinariwen hit the road and head for Mauritania, via southern Morocco, Western Sahara and the Atlantic coast, to hook up with the singer Noura Mint Seymali and set up and record their new album there.

Sutton Foster was a guest on Tuesday's episode of Good Morning America to talk about the new season of Younger. During the interview, GMA shares a clip of the series that features Foster and co-star Hillary Duff singing at Maries Crisis in New York City. Foster shares that there will be another musical moment during the season that is 'one of my most favorite things that we've ever shot on the whole series.'
