Music Director Rob Berman. The Benefit will help fund New York City Center's artistic and education programs. In addition, a portion of the evening's proceeds will go to Young Playwrights Inc, a charity of great importance to Mr. Sondheim.

The Public Theater announced complete casting for the world premiere of Suzan-Lori Parks' THE BOOK OF GRACE, directed by James Macdonald. The complete cast will feature Amari Cheatom as Buddy, John Doman as Vet, and the previously announced Elizabeth Marvel as Grace. THE BOOK OF GRACE will begin previews on Tuesday, March 2 and run through Sunday, April 4 with an official press opening on Tuesday, March 16. All evening performances for THE BOOK OF GRACE will be at 7:30 PM, except for Saturdays at 8 PM.

This Spring, Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre presents CANDIDA -- George Bernard Shaw's classic about a clergyman and his wife who captures the attention of a young poet -- with previews scheduled to begin February 24, prior to its official press opening on March 7 at the Irish Repertory Theatre in Manhattan. The 67th Golden Globe Awards were broadcast live on NBC last night from the Beverly Hilton. The starry cast of THE MIRACLE WORKER have recently got to work on the production, which begins performances on Friday, February 12 at the Circle in the Square Theatre on Broadway. The show, starring Abigail Breslin, Allison Pill, Matthew Modine, Jennifer Morrison and Elizabeth Franz officially opens on March 3, 2010.

MEMPHIS, currently playing at The Shubert Theatre on Broadway starring Chad Kimball and Montego Glover, dedicates a special 8:00pm performance last night, January 17, to The Actors Fund, granting proceeds to the fund in support of their programs and services. Following the finale, MEMPHIS leading Lady, Montego Glover, addressed the crowd, thanking them for their support of The Actor's Fund.
