Dame Judi Dench has signed up to act in the West End once more this fall in a new play by John Logan. British actor Ben Whishaw is also slated for the cast, while Michael Grandage will direct. The show will move to Broadway if it is successful enough in London, according to today's New York Post.

Artistic Directors Joe Jahraus and Darrell W. Cox have announced Profiles Theatre's 2012 - 2013 Season. They also announced that acclaimed playwright Neil LaBute and Steppenwolf ensemble member Rick Snyder joined Profiles as Resident Artists. Five productions are planned for the upcoming 24th season, including the Midwest premieres of the award-winning Blood from a Stone in a newly revised version by playwright Tommy Nohilly, After by Chad Beckim, The Dream of the Burning Boy by David West Read and the Midwest premiere of Neil LaBute's controversial 2010 play The Break of Noon revised exclusively for Profiles Theatre. Additionally, one of Chicago theatre's longest running hits, Hellcab by Will Kern, returns for its 20th Anniversary production. These five productions alternate between Profiles' two venues, The Main Stage at 4139 N. Broadway and The Alley Stage at 4147 N. Broadway.

pH Productions presents the fifth annual Chicago Zombie Pub Crawl Saturday, April 28 from 2 - 9 p.m. The hugely popular event once again takes place in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Zombies begin registration at the new time of 1:30 p.m. at the new starting location, pH Comedy Theater located at 1515 W. Berwyn. Once registered, pH Productions then sends groups of zombies down Clark Street, much to the delight and horror of unsuspecting people. Zombies are encouraged to stop at the many participating bars and enjoy specially-priced cocktails and themed drinks.

This is Barton's last show until later this summer. In this video, Damon Kirsche sings Kander & Ebb's 'Ten Percent,' cut from the original 1975 production of CHICAGO. The video was recorded at 'Fred Barton Presents -- And Thinks You're Gonna Love It!' on January 15, 2012.
