"The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" is based on the true story of the legendary Texas brothel known as the Chicken Ranch. The risque musical chronicles how the town's sheriff and regular patron of the brothel fights to keep the historical whorehouse open as a crusading do-gooder television commentator seeks to close its doors.
STAGE TUBE: Behind the Scenes of Trinity College's Student Film Festival at CinestudioMarch 14, 2012The Trinity Film Festival at Cinestudio will be held on May 5, 2012 on the campus of Trinity College, and is now accepting submissions through April 13, 2012. Selected films will be judged by an eclectic panel of professional filmmakers, academics, and personalities, to be determined. There will be three substantial cash prizes and a high quality "mystery prize" awarded by the audience, which will be unveiled at a post-screening red carpet awards ceremony. Both feeling powerless, they find themselves competing for the topdog position. Lincoln, the older brother, is now divorced, and living with Booth in a seedy, dilapidated room in a boarding house. They have no running water, but they have plenty of liquor. The room is furnished without comforts and with minimal furniture, including milk crates and a sheet of cardboard that serves as the card table for Booth to practice his 3-card monte hustle.
