This weekend Cornelia Street Cafe (29 Cornelia Street) will host the 5th Annual Clean Feed Annual NYC Festival. Friday at 8:30 PM the Festival kicks off with Peter Van Huffel, voice with Peter Van Huffel alto and soprano saxophones; Samuel Blaser on trombone and Michael Bates, bass on Friday at 8:30 PM. At 9:45 PM Ivo Perelman, Daniel Levin and Reuben Radding with 'Soulstorm.' At 11:00 PM RED trio + Nate Wooley 'RED trio' will perform. Spike Hill projects every game of the international soccer championship, broadcast live from stadiums across South Africa, on its 10' x 7' screen as well as several other high definition big screen TVs. The Jewish Museum will present The Monayer Family: Three Videos by Dor Guez through September 7, 2010 in the Museum's Barbara and E. Robert Goodkind Media Center. Visual artist Dor Guez offers perspectives from different generations of a Christian Arab family. Counted among 125,000 Christian Arabs, the Monayers consider themselves a minority within a minority. Museum hours are Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, 11am to 5:45pm; Thursday, 11am to 8pm; and Friday, 11am to 4pm. Museum admission is $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for senior citizens, $7.50 for students, free for children under 12 and Jewish Museum members. Admission is free on Saturdays. Artist and COCA instructor John Parker curates an exhibit featuring the work of COCA faculty members in a wide range of visual arts forms including painting, illustration, collage, sculpture, photography and digital media. Artists include Ilene Berman, Abigail Birhanu, Chris Martinez, Sara Moss, Maria Ojascastro, Katrina Shannon, and Stephanie Summerlin. The exhibit runs through July 16.
