Community Forum Held At Ohio Theatre, Wooster Street Space To Close 8/31April 16, 2010The League of Independent Theater and the Innovative Theatre Foundation will co-sponsor The Community Forum on the Ohio Theatre. The event will begin at 6:30pm at the Ohio Theatre located at 66 Wooster Street in Soho, NY. After two years of negotiation, two lease extensions, and a 29-year history as an indispensable pillar of the downtown theatre scene, the Ohio Theatre must close the doors at its Wooster Street space forever on August 31, 2010.

The line-up kicks of April 16 with three shows including King of the Cage at Cobo Arena (301 Civic Center Drive); Dennis Edwards and the Temptations Review Event at the Fox Theatre (2211 Woodward Avenue); and Frankie Vallie and the Four Season will be at the Sound Board (2901 Grand River) for one of two shows returning to Detroit's Fox Theatre on October 22.
