The new concert series, entitled 'Love Songs' will premiere on Saturday, January 31st and continue through Saturday, February 28th at Broadway's premiere destination, Sardi's (234 West 44th Street between Broadway & Eighth Avenue).

Resonance Ensemble rep series run of, 23 KNIVES, by Christopher Boal (Crazy for the Dog), directed by Eric Parness and Bernard Shaw's CAESAR AND CLEOPATRA adapted by Eric Overmyer and directed by Kent Paul, complete their runs February 7th.

Variety is reporting that Ralph Fiennes will make his directorial debut with a feature adaptation of William Shakespeare's Roman tragedy 'Coriolanus.' Fiennes, is currently starring in Stephen Daldry's 'The Reader' alongside Oscar-nominated Kate Winslet.

Variety is reporting that Celluloid Dreams has picked Philip Seymour Hoffman's directorial debut, an adaption of the stage play 'Jack Goes Boating,' which had an award-winning Off Broadway run in 2007. The company has taken international rights to the film, which is an Overture Films release in the U.S.

This week, the cast of Jersey Boys Las Vegas welcomed Frankie Valli and Rick Elice, co-writer of Jersey Boys, as together they proudly introduced the cast of the upcoming Australian company in a private event at the Jersey Boys Theatre at the Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino. This was the first time Frankie Valli has been back to see the Las Vegas company since the grand opening performance on Frankie's birthday, May 3, 2008. SIRIUS XM Radio announced today that Liza Minnelli will guest host Playing Favorites on Siriusly Sinatra, the SIRIUS XM channel that plays music by Frank Sinatra and the greatest singers of all time. Playing Favorites featuring Liza Minnelli will be broadcast on SIRIUS channel 75 and XM channel 73 on Monday, February 9 at 6 pm ET.

Broadway powerhouse Felicia Finley has announced the release of her long awaited debut album, the songs listed include the title track 'Great Mood for a Tuesday', 'Satin Soldiers' 'Stories', 'Closing Time', 'My House Tonight' and 'Tired of Losin' Sleep'. Carla Gugino's final bow as Abbie Putnam in Goodman Theatre's hit Desire Under the Elms directed by Artistic Director Robert Falls is Tuesday, February 17. Per a pre-production arrangement, Gugino departs the production to fulfill press commitments for the releases of her films Watchmen and Race to Witch Mountain, both opening in early March. Gugino's understudy Amy J. Carle assumes the role for the final two weeks of performances beginning Wednesday, February 18 at 7:30pm.

John Glover will portray 'Lucky' in Roundabout Theatre Company's new Broadway production of Waiting for Godot, directed by Anthony Page and starring (in order of speaking) Nathan Lane (Estragon), Bill Irwin (Vladimir) and John Goodman (Pozzo). David Strathairn was previously announced to play 'Lucky.' He had to regretfully leave the production prior to rehearsals beginning.
