Eddie Varley Eddie Varley was most recently seen as one of the stars of the Lifetime Television Series, MATCHED IN MANHATTAN.

On the New York stage he was a cast member of the long running hit musical revue INTO THE WEEDS: The Bill Weeden Songbook at the Laurie Beechman Theater. Eddie received critical acclaim for his role of Jameson in the New York and Los Angeles Productions of Joe Mortimer's GRAPEFRUIT. As a cast member of the New Vic Theatre of London, he toured both the UK and US in their productions of DRACULA, HUNCHBACK and THE CANTERBURY TALES. He spent several Holiday seasons at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino's Showroom Theater headlining with performers such as the legendary Mickey Rooney, Andrea McArdle and John Byner. An accomplished illustrator, his work can be found in the recent McGraw Hill release, WHY HASN'T HE CALLED?

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that , 'promising an Oscar show that will be 'truly different,' Academy president Sid Ganis used the annual Nominees Luncheon to put this year's awards hopefuls on notice. Teasingly withholding actual specifics, Ganis on Monday warned that 'it's going to be a show that takes some risks.' Speaking directly to the actors, he warned, 'Your categories are being presented in a completely different way. Heads up.'

The New York Times is reporting that famed Costume Designer Florence Klotz's Tony Award is for sale on eBay, the starting bid for the trophy at $10,000 (with an option to buy it outright for $20,000). But the Times has a huge inaccuracy in the piece, as they describe Ms. Klotz herself as posting the auction, which is fairly impossible as she sadly passed away in 2006.

Anna Madeley is the female lead, reprising a role she played in the 2005 staging of the play at the Donmar Warehouse.
