Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is excited to announce the cast selected to lead the TUTS and Houston debut of the Broadway smash hit, Curtains, scheduled to play March 29 - April 10 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater announced today that due to ticket demand, its production of The Hallway Trilogy, by Adam Rapp, will play three (3) additional performances of each part of the trilogy. Previews began Tuesday, February 8th and each part opened in consecutive order on Tuesday, February 22nd, Wednesday, February 23rd, and Thursday, February 24th. Originally scheduled to run through Sunday, March 20th, the shows will now play through Sunday, March 27th.

Japan Society proudly announces a much-anticipated event in its current Performing Arts Season: the New York debut of Kyoto-based Kashu-juku Noh Theater as part of its 2011 North American Tour. Kashu-juku Noh Theater offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience the 600-year-old tradition of noh and kyogen performed in one exceptional evening. Presented in conjunction with Carnegie Hall's JapanNYC Festival, performances are Thursday, March 24 / Friday, March 25 / Saturday, March 26 at 7:30 PM at Japan Society (333 East 47th Street).

The song and tap extravaganza 42nd STREET previews March 30th, opens April 10th and runs through May 29th at the Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. The Broadway production of 42nd STREET won the Tony Award for Best Musical and Choreography in 1980, and Best Revival in 2001. The Marriott Theatre's production will feature Direction and Musical Staging by 2010 Jeff Award winner Rachel Rockwell, Choreography by 2010 Jeff Award winner Tammy Mader, with Musical Direction by multi-Jeff Award winner Doug Peck.

On Tuesday, April 12, Good Housekeeping, the leading women's magazine, takes center stage with 'Shine On,' an original 90 minute production saluting inspiring women. The event, hosted by Rebecca Romijn at Radio City Music Hall, will feature performances and presentations from some of the world's most influential women, including two-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep, and Academy Award winner Goldie Hawn, who will present an award to one of the evening's honorees, Michelle Rhee, former chancellor of the Washington, D.C. school district and founder/CEO of StudentsFirst.

Iran is one of the oldest civilizations in history. Yet this vibrant heritage remains woefully underrepresented on American stages. The Brick proposes to expand the boundaries of this cultural moment, and collaborate with Iranian theater artists in the U.S. and abroad, by hosting and producing the first festival in New York devoted solely to Iranian Theater.

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, the hit made-for-the-web musical miniseries of 2008, comes to the stage in a production by the Landless Theatre Company. Rebellious Subjects Theatre brings its lively and eclectic classical work to The Tank in May 2011 with a reimagining of Shakespeare's Hamlet.
