American Ballet Theatre announced that Principal Dancer Cassandra Trenary will depart the Company at the conclusion of the 2025 Metropolitan Opera House season to join the Vienna State Opera Ballet.

After Hitler's 'seizure of power' in 1933, UFA came under the pressure of Propaganda Minister Goebbels. Jewish artists are dismissed, and their films are banned. The young music student Fritz is supposed to collaborate with the famous composer Werner Richard Heymann to adapt a planned new music film for propaganda purposes.

The final curtain for one of Austria's most famous Actors, the legendary Otto Schenk, who sadly passed away on January 9th, has fallen on the probably most prestigious stage, Vienna's St. Stephans Cathedral, in the heart of Austrias beloved capitol. Otto Schenk has been a theatrical institution that inspired and entertained generations, a legend, on and off-stage.

The nuns hit the road and visit Vienna for the most wonderful time of the year. It's the most anticipated movie of the year. We have been waiting for a long time to experience the transfer from the stage version to the silver screen. With all the social media buzz, it's hard to escape WICKED THE MOVIE (Part 1). Still, apart from the Cynthia  Erivo/Ariana Grande exhibit friendship, the movie has a lot to offer. Directed by Jon M. Chu (who from now on should direct musical movie versions firsthand), you will find dozens of familiar faces, former  WICKED cast members, as well as hidden easter eggs, both in motion and music (if you want to get spoilers, check youtube).

Caspar Richter, the long-time musical director of the most valuable musical orchestra in Europe, the VBW Orchestra, who left us in February 2023, was working on his memoirs with author Christine Piswanger-Richter, to release the final work on September 16, his 80th birthday. It would have been a pleasure, but Richter left our theatrical world and passed away in February 2023.
