The crooner who defined crooners — up close and personal.
A Musical Biography lovingly told from his humble beginnings on the Major Bowes Amateur Hour through the Columbia and Capital years, all the way to his years with Reprise records and his final recordings spanning six decades of a singular vocal sensation never before or since replicated.
Conceived and performed by the vocally impressive impresario Dane Warren, who was last seen on our stage in his performance of Ring of Fire, the music of Johnny Cash has since been touring across Canada and the U.S. with Relive the Music of the 50s and 60s Rock ‘N’ Roll Touring Show.
Backed onstage by the Dean Thiessen Little Big Band comprising of Dean Thiessen on piano, Wynston Minckler on bass, Jamison Ko on drums, Bonnie Northgraves on trumpet, John Nicholson on saxophone, clarinet and flute and Nebyu Yohannes on trombone.
