As the decades have gone by, Broadway has continued to develop and change along with the rest of the world.

I was taking in this news in a safe and healthy environment (my house), yet all I really felt was scared. Scared for the future of the world, of education, and of me.

I think this is the semester where I truly grew into my Hapa (half Asian) identity, talking about it with more pride than ever.

With the current happenings in the world studying the performing arts has been completely flipped on its head, the once completely in person lessons and rehearsals are now completely online using video chat and email.

Rejection sucks. It just does. Though we may not always admit it, validation is something that everybody craves, and not getting it constantly can feel like a real punch in the gut.

With the release of Hamilton on Disney+, the popularity of filmed theatre has skyrocketed.

I miss Tisch so freaking much. I know it won't be the same in any way shape or form, but it gives me hope. In a time of unknown, it is the sliver of something concrete that I can hold onto. a??a??a??a??a??a??a??

I think a lot of us get caught up in the a?oeschedulinga?? of our lives. At least I do! But, sometimes it is equally as important to have unstructured time to fill with both reflection and all the things we never have time to do

During quarantine, many people have felt the desire to help others in these difficult times. I wanted to use this platform to highlight someone spreading love to others throughout the past few months.

Theatre is a tricky business. You want to tell new and original stories, but at the same time you want to make sure the money invested in a new show is well spent, and you'll make that money back. So what do you do?

It has been nearly 4 months since most people have been able to see a live theatrical production or perform on stage for a live audience.

When one thinks of jobs on Broadway, the first career that often comes to mind is actor, or maybe director or designer. However, each and every Broadway show has about 200 to 400 people working on it at any given time.

What I found most exciting about Hamilton coming to Disney+ were the boundless opportunities for the internet to make a characteristic mark on the interpretation and presentation of the musical. In other words, I was pumped for the memes.
