Broadway fans who aren't inside Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 11, can still revel in all things theatre with their fellow enthusiasts when Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS returns to host Tony Awards at Feinstein's/54 Below, the ultimate awards show viewing party.

The awards include a cash prize of $2,500 for Best Play, made possible by a grant from the Lucille Lortel Foundation. The awards will be presented at a private cocktail reception on Thursday, May 18.

The 2017 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out last night to recipients in 19 categories, with three honorary awards also bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by actor and comedian Taran Killam. August Wilson's Jitney has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play.

Laurie Metcalf has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for A DOLL'S HOUSE, PART 2.

Cynthia Nixon has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for LILLIAN HELLMAN'S THE LITTLE FOXES.

Kevin Kline has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for PRESENT LAUGHTER.

Christopher Akerlind has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Lighting Design of a Play for INDECENT.

Rebecca Taichman has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Play for INDECENT.

Jane Greenwood has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Play for LILLIAN HELLMAN'S THE LITTLE FOXES.

Andy Blankenbuehler has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Choreography for BANDSTAND.

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for media covering New York theatre announced today its award winners for the 2016-17 season in 27 categories.

Jack Abrams may live in Los Angeles, but he's making quite an impression on the Broadway community. The young artist had been filling his Twitter page with photos of figures made from Legos honoring Tony nominated shows. In this production of THE LITTLE FOXES, actresses Laura Linney Cynthia Nixon alternate playing the roles of Regina and Birdie in Lillian Hellman's legendary play about greed and ambition. Both are nominated for a Tony Award, Cynthia for Best Featured Actress in a Play, and Laura for Best Actress in a Play. The Lortel Awards will be presented tonight, May 7, 2017 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00 PM EST. This year's event will be hosted by actor and comedian, Taran Killam, and will once again serve as a benefit for The Actors Fund.

Spring has sprung, awards season has begun, and the latter is all that really matters to Broadway fans everywhere. Earlier this week, Jane Krakowski and Christopher Jackson announced the 2017 Tony nominees, celebrating the best of the 2016-17 theatre season (and what a season it's been!). Topping this year's list is Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, which received twelve nominations, closely followed by Hello, Dolly! and Dear Evan Hansen- picking up ten and nine nods respectively.
