As BroadwayWorld previously reported, The Tony Awards just unveiled the first ever Tony Awards Pop-Up Shop at the Paramount Hotel. The Tony Awards Pop-Up Shop, located at the Paramount Hotel in the heart of Times Square features exclusive merchandise and experiences for Broadway fans from around the world. The winners of the following categories will be announced on Monday, May 12th and the annual awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 22nd (4PM) at Sardi's Restaurant.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced that it will present the 2014 Regional Theatre Award to New York's Signature Theatre. Each year, the Tony Awards Administration Committee presents a Tony Award to a regional theatre on the recommendation of the American Theatre Critics Association. The 2014 Tony Awards, which are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 8, 2014.

Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) has been named by the Tony Awards as its first, exclusive higher education partner. As part of the collaboration, the two organizations will jointly create and launch the first, national recognition program to honor kindergarten through high-school (K-12) theatre educators.
