To Kill A Mockingbird Photos - Broadway

Last Night, To Kill a Mockingbird welcomed Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Greg Kinnear as he made his Broadway debut as “Atticus Finch.” Written by Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin with direction by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, To Kill a Mockingbird also stars Baize Buzan as “Scout Finch.” 

Last night, To Kill a Mockingbird, the most successful American play in Broadway history, celebrated its return to Broadway at the Shubert Theatre, playing its first performance since the shutdown in March 2020 and we've got photos of the cast back on stage.

Just yesterday, a capacity crowd of 18,000 New York City public school students made history, along side the Broadway cast of To Kill a Mockingbird. Aaron Sorkin's new play, directed by Bartlett Sher, and based on Harper Lee's classic novel, became the first-ever Broadway play to perform at The World's Most Famous Arena, New York's Madison Square Garden. With the extraordinary support of James L. Dolan, executive chairman and CEO of The Madison Square Garden Company, this unprecedented, single-performance event was entirely free to students of New York City Department of Education public middle and high schools from all five boroughs.

On Thursday, August 1st, Celia Keenan-Bolger dropped by NYC's Broadway Artists Alliance during a busy week of classes and rehearsals. Keenan-Bolger stars as Scout Finch in the critically acclaimed production of To Kill a Mockingbird on Broadway, a role for which she received the 2019 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play.
