Get ready for a rock music concert, a German synth-pop duo, an opera and a Steven Sondheim-inspired musical–all entirely improvised on the spot based on your suggestion!
Those are just a few of the 18 acts from around the Bay Area and as far away as Chicago and Hawaii that will take to the stage for the first-ever Bay Area Musical Improv Festival, October 25 - 27 at the All Out Comedy Theater in Oakland.
The festival features six shows over the course of the weekend, with each performance entirely improvised–that means every note, every melody, every lyric and every rhyme is made up on the spot, inspired by you, the audience.
