Lean in close, because The Spectaculars are in town! As the nation is stuck in the throes of The Great Depression, young Celeste is strictly watched by her mother, but has a secret power inside her that will not be denied. When she gets a chance to run away with her magical Aunt Scarlett's traveling side show, Celeste leaps at the opportunity. But, just when she begins to earn a spot on stage, and among her castmates, the troupe is forced to rise to the challenge posed by their biggest chance at stardom. What will that success cost? Mystic Rapture is a brand-new musical created and composed by members of our Abbott MFA in Musical Theater Collaboration.
