Kevin Heard

BIO

Kevin Heard (he/him) is a New York City-based producer and sound designer whose work has been on and off Broadway, at many regional theatres around the country, and internationally--notably Manila, Philippines (where credits include the international original-production premieres of Fun Home, Kinky Boots, and Matilda).


Broadway associate designer credits include: All The Way, The Cherry Orchard, The Country House, The Minutes, and Good Night Oscar.

Off-Broadway sound design credits include: Lizard Boy (2024 Drama Desk Nomination for Outstanding Musical), ¡Americano!, In & Of Itself, The Hello Girls, Midnight at The Never Get, Einstein's Dreams, #dateme, safeword., For The Last Time, Long Story Short, The Underclassman.

Kevin has designed the sound for dozens of productions at regional companies including The 5th Avenue, ACT Theatre, ArtsEmerson, Asolo Rep, George Street, The Guthrie, INTIMAN, Ogunquit Playhouse, Ordway, The Rev (formerly Merry-Go-Round/Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival), Seattle Rep, Seattle Shakes, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Teatro ZinZanni, Theatre Under the Stars, Village Theatre, and more.

As a producer, Kevin has been part of the team at BenDeLaCreme Presents since 2014, producing many of BenDeLaCreme’s solo shows and tours as well as the internationally-renowned The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show. Starring BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon, this high-camp holiday spectacular has toured all over the US, UK, and Canada with To Jesus, Thanks for Everything! (2018), All I Want for Christmas is Attention (2019), The Return of The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, LIVE! (2021), and The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show (2022, 2023, 2024). Kevin also produced The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special (film version) in 2020.
