Tree Arrival Family Festivities Presented by Balsam Hill® at Rockefeller Center

As the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree makes its way to Center Plaza where it will stand for the season, Tree Arrival Family Festivities Presented by Balsam Hill® will offer a day of fun for kids of all ages, including music, arts and crafts, and story time on Saturday, November 11, from 10am to 1pm on Rockefeller Center’s South Plaza, between 49th and 48th Streets, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.

Activities will include:

• Performances by The Rock and Roll Playhouse: The largest performer of kid-friendly live concerts in the nation will be performing classic holiday covers on the Balsam Hill stage.
• Book Readings at McNally Jackson: Kids can join McNally Jackson for story time on the Plaza – and if you purchase a book in-store, enjoy complimentary gift wrapping!
• Letters to Santa: Kids can kick-off the holiday season with a letter to Santa that will be sent straight to the North Pole!
• Ornament Making: Families can join artist Lu Ann Kaldor to create their own ornaments in the likeness of the iconic Clarebout Angels featured in the Channel Gardens, or help Balsam Hill decorate one of their beautiful Balsam Hill Christmas Trees with their own creations.
• Caricature Artists: Families can get caricature portraits done by one of Rockefeller Center’s professional artists.

Guests who RSVP in advance will receive a complimentary treat at check-in.
