In celebration of the US Open, there will be a tennis court on Center Plaza at Rockefeller Center from August 24th through September 1st. The court is presented by Racquet, a lifestyle brand and quarterly magazine that celebrates the art, ideas, style and culture that surround tennis.
Racquet House at Rockefeller Center invites New Yorkers and visitors to celebrate the US Open in the heart of the city. The court will be open to the public from August 28th through September 1st; timeslots can be reserved by signing up for the Racquet newsletter linked here. Spectators may even see their favorite tennis player on the court, as professional tennis players will be making appearances throughout the week.
Racquet House is a tentpole event series of pop-ups timed to celebrate notable moments in the tennis calendar. Racquet House began with a Palm Springs takeover of the Dinah Shore Estate, and has made notable appearances at Kelly Wearstler’s Beverly Hills home, London’s SW19 in celebration of Wimbledon, the Silvertop Residence in Los Angeles and most recently, at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris ahead of Roland Garros 2023. Racquet House will return to Rockefeller Center this year following last year’s inaugural celebration at the Center. The 2022 celebration was their first pop-up in New York, where Racquet was founded and is currently based.
