Ogunquit Playhouse Announces Auditions for the Holiday Production of White Christmas
The Ogunquit Playhouse is holding auditions for the upcoming production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas. Auditions will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from Noon to 4 PM at The Music Hall, located at 28 Chestnut Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. White Christmas opens at The Music Hall on Wednesday, December 9, and closes on Sunday, December 20.
Participants must prepare a short traditional musical theatre song, in their key, and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Performers may bring a picture with a resume stapled to the back.
Actors must be available for rehearsal period and to perform in all shows during the run.
The character roles being sought are the following:
SUSAN: (9-12 years old to play 9 years old) The General's granddaughter, Susan is a lovable and outgoing real kid. She is very smart, wise beyond her years, and cares deeply about her grandfather. Once bitten hard by the showbiz bug, she demonstrates everything that is winning in the ultimate child performer.
EZEKIAL FOSTER: (Male; mid 40s-late 50s) The ultimate taciturn New Englander, who helps out at the inn and takes life at a very slow pace. BARITONE.

Turn east toward downtown Portsmouth.
Take the third right, Hanover Street to the public garage or park at a metered spot nearby.
Walk to the Historic Theatre at 28 Chestnut St. adjacent to Congress St. downtown.
