TRIAL AND TREASON - NJ Playwrights Contest

Looking for 2 male actors 30's for lead roles in a new play - TRIAL AND TREASON from the NJ Playwrights Contest. Rehearsals start immediately for a Dec 3-14, 2014 run on the William Paterson University campus.

Edwin Booth – 30’s, Historical figure, actor (Shakespearean), large of stature, speaks with a southern accent, older brother to J.W. Booth, the "heavy" an enforcer-type, ultimately a follower and a really nice guy with a sense of humor. Also plays multiple smaller roles without a southern accent.

J.W. (John Wilkes) Booth – 30’s, Historical figure, actor/assassin, speaks with a southern accent, short of stature, bully, born leader, quick to violence, with a macabre sense of humor. Also plays multiple smaller roles without a southern accent.
