Three Days of Rain
Auditions
Sunday 20 August, 2.00pm in the Treasure House, behind Lopdell House
You are invited to audition for the next production at Titirangi Theatre: Three Days of Rain by Richard Greenberg, directed by Duncan Milne, to be staged 21 November to 2 December.
This witty and intelligent play was nominated for a Pulitzer. It follows Walker and his sister Nan, children of a famous architect, as they wait for the reading of his will. They are joined by Pip, the son of the architect's business partner. As they wait, and as the will is disclosed, they bicker about who did what, and why.
In the second half the same three actors play their own parents thirty five years earlier, at the same age and in the same place, and we find out what really happened.
Roles:
Walker / Ned
Nan / Lina
Pip / Theodore
All are mid-20's to early 30's.
All roles are substantial. American accent required, New York accent preferred. Rehearsals will be from late Sept, in evenings and weekends.
