The Real Inspector Hound
Submitted by The Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack, NY will be holding open auditions for its upcoming productions of The Real Inspector Hound, written by Tom Stoppard and directed by Omar Kozarsky.

PERFORMANCE DATES: Sept 12th to Oct 11 2014 (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays).
THE REAL INSPECTOR HOUND:
A sharp parody of the Agatha Christie murder mystery genre, complete with all its theatrical cliches. Feuding English theater critics, Moon and Birdboot, are swept into the whodunit of the play they are reviewing.
Cast: 5 men / 3 women
MOON (Male, 20s -40s): second-string theater critic. Stand in for Higgs.
BIRDBOOT (Male, 40s to 60s): another theater critic. A womanizer. Plumpish.
SIMON GASCOYNE (Male, 20 – 30s): Handsome.Has affairs with both Felicity and Cynthia. Dislikes Magnus, as they are both in love with Cynthia.
MAJOR MAGNUS MULDOON (Male, 50s – 60s): Lord Albert Muldoon's crippled half-brother. Dislikes Simon as they are both in love with Cynthia.
INSPECTOR HOUND (Male 40s – 50s): arrives to investigate a phone call at the manor.
MRS. DRUDGE (Female, 40s – 60s): Maid of Muldoon Manor. Cockney accent.
FELICITY CUNNINGHAM (Female, 20s): Young, beautiful. Seemingly sweet.
CYNTHIA MULDOON (Female, 30s): Sophisticated, beautiful. Has affair with Simon.
